- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Pest Control. DESCRIPTION: At the Centre for Overseas Pest Research, they wage an unceasing battle against the legions of pests which threaten both man and his food supplies throughout the World. SHOTLIST: CU man operating model of termite teeth. CU termites in case. LV man looking at termites through magnifying glass. CU termites through glass. FV tank of snails (for use in experiment to try a poison to kill the snail but not the fish). LV scientist looking into microscope, he gets up & looks at a tube of powder taken from wall clip. CU man looking at tube. FV tank of fish in experiment, scientists come in and put poison in tank. CU fish in tank zoom out. BV man looking at plants to feed caterpillars (which turn into Armyworm Moth), he walks over to see the caterpillar. CU caterpillar. CU man looking at caterpillar. CU caterpillar. SV scientist working at bench, he walks off to see locus. CU locus. LV locus in case as scientist walking up to case, he puts his hand in case & moves the locus around. SV scientist preparing locus for flying experiment. SV locus stuck on pole in front of wind tunnel.
