Eire’s new PM Mr Liam Cosgrave meets Mr Heath. The strike confusion is worsened, when on the day of the Northern Ireland Border Referendum, the city becomes the target for suspected IRA bombs - one dead and over 200 casualties. LV towards & pan ambulance speeding down Whitehall. GV activity around bomb blasted at Old Bailey. AS shattered windows. AS Old Bailey pan down to a section of the wreckage of bombed car on pavement. LV large office block with shattered windows. LV wrecked car pulled onto trailer. CU broken windscreen of car, SV people watching pan down to blood on pavement, AS shattered windows in office block, LV sweeping up glass. AS Old Bailey with shattered windows.
