Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Rugby - England V All Blacks. DESCRIPTION: England v New Zealand All Blacks at Twickenham. Result England 0: New Zealand 9. SHOTLIST: SV All Blacks run onto field. LV crowds sit down including Mr Edward Heath. 2 GVs pan England kick off, crowds. LV All Blacks take possession and kick towards England goal. SV All Blacks player No 11 tackled and brought down by England No 14 ball goes loose. GV England No 12 kicks to touch. SV line-out and both teams scramble and run for ball towards English goal, LV scrummage for ball close to goal line for Ian Kirkpatrick to go over for All Blacks try. GV Joe Karam converts. SV scoreboard England 0, NZ 6. STV scrum in progress, NZ No 11 takes possession & races up field to be stopped. SV crowd applauding, LV No 9 for England races for ball near NZ goal, SV (2) loose ball kicked away from line by NZ defender, mass crowds - HALF TIME. GV pan England attack and go over line, disallowed try because England forward pass. GV pan Brian Williams scoring drop goal for All Blacks. SV scoreboard England 0, NZ 9. GV players leaving field surrounded by crowd.
