Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Veterinary Hospital. DESCRIPTION: The Saint George Hospital for animals in Australia - operations on a cat, bird and dog are demonstrated. SHOTLIST: SV woman vet in lab. SCU dog in cage. SV vet and assistant placing cat in X-ray machine. CU vet looking through eye piece. CU cat. SV lights in operating theatre pan down to dog on operating table having teeth attended to. SV nurse placing small dog in cabinet. SV vet attending to budgerigar which has outgrown identification ring on leg. SLV nurse takes large dog with plaster on leg from cage and carries him to table. CU dog. SCU assistant holding dog while vet takes plaster off leg. SCU plaster being removed. SCU pan from anesthetist adjusting equipment to dog on operating table. SV dog on table pan up to nurses. SCU respirator. SCU dog with paralysed back legs being strapped into canine wheelchair. SV pan as dog is placed on floor and walks away with rear legs supported by harness on wheels.
