Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Scout Car Races. DESCRIPTION: Over 120 pedal race cars built entirely by Scouts and Cubs, race at different times, down the seafront at Blackpool. The cars are made from fibre-glass, sheet metal and/or wood, and musn’t cost more than £12 each. Some cars had nine gears in them. SHOTLIST: CU poster Scorchin Scouts. SV boys alongside scout car from truck. SV boys working on scout car. LV competitors lined up with scout cars. SV boy sitting on scout car No 29 The Ram. SV another car The Cabbage Machine.
