CU Arsenal player Frank McLintock. John Toshack centres - Arsenal down through. Charlie George at 114’ - dangerous - Arsenal forward shoots past post. CU crowd. Arsenal attack, George Armstrong centres at 124’ from left wing & then Ray Clemence gets header - Peter Storey fouls him. CU Arsenal player. CU ball. CU Clemence (Liverpool goalie). Charlie George shoots powerful one over bar. CU Larler Liverpool full back. Arsenal centre but Clemence saves, Armstrong heads save at 184’. Ian Callahan Liverpool passes to left wing (2 shots). CU Bob Wilson A/S. Liverpool attack, Wilson saves. Referee awards free kick to Liverpool, who take take it, Wilson makes goal save. CU scoreboard 0-0. HALF TIME. 2ND HALF. CU Wilson, Armstrong takes corner, cleared off the line Liverpool clear and build up attack & Emlyn Hughes Liverpool centre, clear collected by Wilson. CU Clements 3 shots Wilson saves Liverpool centre at 366’, throws ball out, at 374’ ball centred into Liverpool goalmouth & Ray Kennedy. Clements goes up for ball. Radford takes long throw in for Arsenal and the skirmish - referee awards free kick to Liverpool for pushing. Arsenal centre and George Graham shoots and Clements saves & throws out. BS Arsenal goal. Liverpool corner and Hall heads for goal but Wilson saves. CU scoreboard 0 - 0. 4 shots and the game ended with no score - washing themselves Don Howe on pitch. GV crowd. EXTRA TIME - Kick off, Arsenal attack but Liverpool clear. CU Hughes. Heighway scores. GV crowd cheer. CU Simpson picks ball up from back of net. MS Liverpool players congratulate Heighway. CU Charlie George brought down in full flight. CU Kennedy running. GV Liverpool goalmouth skirmish - George Graham scores for Arsenal. MS players congratulate ditto. GV pan crowd. GV Radford long throw headed away by Liverpool but Arsenal forward scissor kicks, but Clements saves. MS Charlie George scores winner. Arsenal players pick up George from floor. MS Clemence on floor - zoom back to GV ball in net. CU Don Howe (coach) jumps into air, on pitch. GV players at end of game, MS crowd. CU spectator kisses Charlie George. CU Storey, Kelly and Radford embrace each other. MS Arsenal players start to go up for cup. MS Charlie George ditto. Frank McLintock receives cup from Duke of Kent. MS Arsenal players with cup, GV players start lap of honour. MCU cup held up. MS lap of honour. Charlie George kissed by spectator - pan to cup. MS press photographers pan to Arsenal team with cup. TS ditto - zoom out to GV. GR cup final title - ENDS.
