Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Barefoot Skiing. DESCRIPTION: Look Mum. No skis. Barefoot behind a speedboat, Australia’s champion riders compete for the National titles. These boys have to be on their toes every foot of the way. SHOTLIST: SV pan skier takes running start from bank, pan as he is pulled upright by boat. LV pan skier going backwards & falls. LV skier rolling over on water at speed. SV ditto. LV another skier takes running start from bank - pan as pulled along. 3 LVs pan skier going backwards on one ski. LV ditto & falls off. Pan another skier starts towards and past skier at speed lying on his belly. SV skier rolling over on water at speed (Champion Garry Barton). LV ditto at 137’ puts towing cord round neck, goes onto one foot & does somersault.
