Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: On the Water. DESCRIPTION: Conqueror - fifth of Britain’s Nuclear Submarines, is launched at Birkenhead, the last of Britain’s undersea fleet to be built on Merseyside. Latest nautical addition to the fighting services of France - a diesel powered Go anywhere vessel that can raise and swing its propellers to allow it to operate under almost any conditions.
