Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Happy Landings. DESCRIPTION: President Johnson unveils the world’s largest transport aircraft, the Galaxy Transport. The increase in size of aircraft puts even more stress on the under-carriage and wheels, so at Fort Dunlop in Birmingham, they have built a simulator to test the effects of a heavily loaded aeroplane during take off and landing, and what pressure it puts on the wheels.
