Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: High Flying Fish. DESCRIPTION: Baby carp, around ten million of them, are flown out from Hong Kong to other parts of Asia for stocking rivers and lakes. When only a couple of inches long they’re put into plastic bags containing water. Oxygen is blown into the water to aerate it before the bags are sealed up. Some are bound for Britain. They were ordered by the Central Electricity Board to eat the weeds at Roosecote Power Station near Barrow-in Furness. SHOTLIST: Medium close up of fish in tank. Man lifting net out of water.
