MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Silverstone - Bread and Butter and the Cream. DESCRIPTION: First, the bread-and-butter cars, production cars, took part in their own event at Silverstone, which was over 12 laps - 36 miles. Among competitors was Paddy Hopkirk, driving the Mini Cooper. But the winner was Jack Sears in a Ford Galaxie. The big race of the day was for Formula One cars, with Jim Clark, Jack Brabham, Graham Hill and Dan Gurney among the many aces.
