Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Fine Feather - Fine Birds. DESCRIPTION: American chickens were among the egg layers at the International Poultry Show at Olympia. But the turkeys stole the limelight, and there was one at over sixty pounds!. Also at Olympia, the Caged Birds Show, with over 2,000 canaries amongst the 5,000 exhibits. They include Golden Finches and, of-course, the very popular budgies. And there is a Gloster Canary, with his Beatle style on top!. But if you want to look like a Beatle, how about a Mersey Beat Wig, being made at a factory in London? Those who make them, can’t stop wearing them. They’re working day and night to meet the demand, making around 1,800 a day. And that’s a lot of Beatles! SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV exterior Olympia and sign Poultry Show. GV interior show.
