Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Tough Terriers. DESCRIPTION: 30 teams took part in the 40-mile two-day Tough Training Trek for Terriers. Marksmanship was just one of a number of special tests. The next obstacle was the River Thames. Each team had to build a raft from 6 inner tubes, a couple of pieces of wood and some string! Once on the other side, they had to pick up their rafts and carry it. Next, the Civil Defence heavy rescue test, and the chance for the terriers to put into practice everything they’ve learnt on training nights. Final objective: Alexandra Palace and the finish.
