MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Badminton Horse Trials. DESCRIPTION: It was the second day of the Badminton Horse Trials. Her Majesty the Queen, Princess Anne, Princess Margaret with her husband, Lord Snowdon, were there to watch. One of the competitors, taking part in the speed, endurance and cross-country test, was Miss Green’s Red Dawn. The easy winner of the great Badminton Championship was Miss Drummond-Hay, who rode Merely A Monarch. SHOTLIST: Queen and Princess Anne walking among the sales stalls. Shots of jockeys mounting. Princess Margaret and Lord Snowdon sit down on grass to watch. Various shots of horses taking the jumps. Miss Drummond-Hay wins.
