Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Make Em and Model Em. DESCRIPTION: They’re factory girls with a difference, these machinists at a factory in Ramsgate. Their job? Well, it’s concerned with the manufacture of swimsuits, and this is not the most outstanding part of their employment: they not only make ‘em, they model ‘em as well! British swimsuits are gaining in popularity overseas, and 200 employees are kept busy here turning out 5,000 garments a week. Twenty per cent is for export. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
