Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Drawn Match at Cardiff. DESCRIPTION: At Ninian Park, Wales had John Charles in their half back line with his brother, Mel. Vic Crowe won the toss from Johnny Haynes, and, as white-shirted England kicked off, top spectators were soon watching Welsh right-winger Cliff Jones racing away. Half an hour had barely passed, when Graham Williams beat Springett. But just on half-time, Bryan Douglas equalised. There was no goal in the second half, and the match petered out as a draw, one all. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV Wales on seat. MS dog. MS toss up. GV play. LS men on stand. GV play. LS crowd. GV play.
