Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: England V Ireland. DESCRIPTION: Lansdowne Road, Dublin, was packed with fans, when the two captains, Jeeps and Dawson, met President de Valera, before Ireland’s international with England. England kicked off, and it wasn’t long before they were showing good form with a fine run towards the Irish line. The movement was checked, and a neat interception put Ireland on the attack.
