Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Desert Survival. DESCRIPTION: The RAF Institute for Aviation Medicine has discovered that snails of the Eremina Ehrenbergi Roth family contain a small quantity of drinkable fluid, and fluid is what you need if you’re forced to bale out over the desert. The liquid contains a considerable amount of protein, so the snails are a source of food as well as water. Experiments by officers under simulated desert conditions have proved that you can live for at-least 4 days on this diet of snail-juice! SHOTLIST: Fade key scene - CU snail. MS car. MS man selecting snails. MS man cutting snails. MCU same. CU same. MCU juice poured into glass. CU same. MS man drinking juice. MS three men drinking juice. CU man drinking juice. BS same.
