MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Calcutta Cup. DESCRIPTION: There was good reason for excitement at Murrayfield: could Scotland wrest the Calcutta Cup from the Sassenachs at long last? The English fifteen were not only unchanged this season, but, so far, unbeaten, too. The match had barely started, when a series of terrific shocks jolted the Scots. It was sixteen six at half time. And the result: twenty-one twelve for England, together with the Calcutta Cup, the Triple Crown and at-least a share of the championships. SHOTLIST: GV spectators at Murrayfield.
