MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Space Conference. DESCRIPTION: Delegates from two dozen countries, including the United States and Great Britain, attended a special conference in Rome. It was the second world, aviation and space-medicine conference, with accent of-course on the shape of men-in-space, as well as a thousand and one questions on the subject. Senior officers, doctors and scientists, considering equipment for space-travel, to take one example. Now, over to the States, where a specially designed pressure suit was tried out by a volunteer.
