- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sir Vivian Fuchs. DESCRIPTION: The New Zealand liner Rangitoto docked at Southampton, bringing home the leader of the Commonwealth Transantarctic Expedition. Dr Fuch’s wife and daughter Hillary were there to welcome him and the team. During the expedition there were reports of disagreement between Dr Fuchs and Sir Edmund Hillary.
