Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Dancing Champions. DESCRIPTION: Staged at Earls Court, London, the Star Championships included a contest for the Formation Dancing Title. A sharp contrast was the demonstration by a team of Rock n’ Rollers. The highlight of the programme was the professional championship. This was won by Alf Davies and Julie Raeby, who brilliantly repeated last year’s triumph. They received the trophy and hearty congratulations from film star Peggy Cummins.
