MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Ike Inaugurated. DESCRIPTION: Washington, and a big occasion, the inauguration of President Eisenhower for his second term of office. The oath was administered by Chief Justice Warren. It’s a tradition that on inauguration day there should be a great parade through the City from the Capital to the White House. The emphasis this year was on America’s impressive production of guided missile weapons. SHOTLIST: Aerial over Washington. Ike in car with wife. Shots of Ike being sworn in by Chief Justice Warren (Nixon seen next to Ike). Sound heard of him being sworn in. Shots of parade through streets. MCU Ike and Nixon waving. MS Redstone missile moving along the road. Several other missiles along road. Matador tactical missile along the road. Panning shot of the Snark guided missile.
