MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cyprus - Copter Patrol. DESCRIPTION: Helicopters came into the picture in Cyprus. Sycamores were about to take on board men of the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry - three soldiers to each helicopter. Their assignment was an operation in the Kyrenia Hills, searching for terrorists. SHOTLIST: GV & TS Sycamore helicopters lined up on airfield. 2 shots of men from King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry run towards helicopters. CU pilot giving thumbs up. GV helicopters take off. CU pilot air to air helicopters in flight over the Kyrenia hills (x2). GV helicopter hovers whilst troops slide down ropes to ground (x2).
