MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Premium Bond No 1. DESCRIPTION: The Dagenham Girl Pipes gave the Premium Bond Scheme a rousing send off. Dr Hill, Lord Macintosh and Sir Cuthbert Ackroyd opened the Campaign in London. The Lord Mayor bought Premium Bond No 1, while the Lord Mayor of Liverpool was another to start the ball rolling.
