- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Princess in Zanzibar. DESCRIPTION: At Zanzibar the Princess’s arrival was marked by a 21 gun salute. She was received by the Acting Resident Mr Robert Alford, later her Royal Highness was welcomed by the 77 year old Sultan, Seyyid Sir Khalifa Bin Harub and the Sultana. During her visit Her Royal Highness met and talked with many of the Protectorate’s leading citizens of all nationalities. The royal visit had proved an outstanding success.
