Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Voyage to Romance. DESCRIPTION: The voyage was made in the Constitution and aboard the American liner, Grace Kelly takes it easy. Making the trip with her were her father and mother. Meanwhile in Monaco representatives of the Press had assembled from all over the world - for the big story itself - the wedding of the year. First a visit to Cannes, where the Mayor came aboard to meet Miss Kelly. Later Prince Rainier went aboard his yacht, to meet the Constitution. Together they made the short journey to Monte Carlo where a tremendous welcome awaited the Prince’s beautiful bride-to-be. SHOTLIST: Good view of the Constitution. Grace Kelly on deck with her parents Mr and Mrs Kelly and also her dog (a Weinaraner). In Monaco - Close up of flags on press office. Interpreter. Telephone. Phone booths. Typists pool. Maps of town and postcards on sale. Palace guards marching, flags, long shot of boat. Cannes - Grace talks. Grace Kelly. Good view of side. Good view of Monaco. Long shot of yacht (Deo Yuvante II).
