MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Save the Churches. DESCRIPTION: At Buckingham Palace, the Duke of Edinburgh handed cheques to Roger Bannister, Chris Chataway and Chris Brasher. The cheques (for £250.00) were from the Historic Churches Preservation Trust and they were to be delivered by relay to City Churches. SHOTLIST: GV of church tower.
