- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Gloucester Honours Col. Carne. DESCRIPTION: At a civic reception in the City of Gloucester’s Guildhall, the Mayor presented to Colonel Carne a silver casket and an illuminated scroll conferring upon him the Honorary Freedom of the City. Earlier in the day, more than three hundred men of the Glorious Gloucesters marched through the City. Led by their Colonel, they came to attend a service of Thanksgiving at Gloucester Cathedral.
