MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: British Games - White City. DESCRIPTION: Almost every victory in the British Games at the White City went to America. One of Britain’s victories was in the three miles. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV games. 220 yards race - won by Stanfield (USA). 880 yards - race - won by Pearman. One mile - racing - won by Santee (USA). 440 yards - Wint racing, Americans (relay) take over lead & go on to win, Whitfield just beating McKenley to the tape. . Three mile event, Britain win, Green winning from Stone of USA.
