It’s a light plastic material and the boats are made in one piece by means of pressing. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Laying material over keel of boat. Various shots of boat being processed, going through pressure process. Naval officer hits finished boat with sledge hammer. Mix to landing craft loaded with troops under way also made from plastic.
