MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The World Skating Champions. DESCRIPTION: At the Empire Pool, Wembley - the World Championships in Figure Skating and the winners of the pair skating event were Karol and Michael Kennedy of the USA. Richard Button brought off another American win by retaining his World Title. In the Ladies’ event Miss Aja Vrzanova of Czechoslovakia won a narrow victory over Jeannette Altwegg of Great Britain.
