Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sir Harry Lauder’s Last Journey. DESCRIPTION: The funeral cortege of Sir Harry Lauder passed through rain soaked streets. He was laid to rest at Hamilton where he began work as a pit boy. SHOTLIST: KS CU wreath. Cortege leaves "Lauder Ha", passing through the raining streets, people line. Coffin carried from Cadzow Parish Church & hearse moves off en route to Bent Cemetery, enters cemetery, & mourners follow coffin. Miss Greta Lauder looks down as coffin is lowered unseen. CU wreath with names of Winston & Clementine Churchill. Crowds walk past wreaths.
