SHOTLIST: KS MS three Oscars. CU Lord Rothermere. CU Lady Rothermere. Jean Simmons arrives, received by host. Preceded by Mr and Mrs J Arthur Rank. Arrival of Valerie Hobson, Stewart Granger, Patricia Roc, all individual close ups of them. Arrival together of Anna Neagle, Herbert Wilcox and Michael Wilding. Don Iddon entering, pan of him walking across floor. Harold Wilson enters shakes hands with Lord and Lady Rothermere. MS & SCU Wilson addressing the gathering, speaks about British films. Lord Rothermere speaks of Margaret Lockwood. Lady Rothermere presents award to Margaret Lockwood. She says a few words. SCU John Mills chatting, he has beard and moustache. SCU Mills speaking.
