MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cocktail Competition. DESCRIPTION: Tommy Handley, Jack Train and other stars of ITMA judged the Daily Mail International Cocktail Competition. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS MS Tommy Handley, Jack Train, Patricia Roc, Lind Joyce. MS of the above seated at their respective tables, also includes Joan Harben (Mona Lott). MS of cocktails being shaken. Waiter walks up to Jack Train (wearing dummy moustache) says Would you like a Merry Go Round. Jack Train As a member of the ITMA thing I would rather reserve my defence. More cocktail shaking behind counter. Waiter: Would you like a dry brandy, Jack Train: I don’t mind if it’s wet or dry, I’ll have it. After tasting same says It tastes like brandy off white. More cocktail shaking. Waiter: Would you care for a Maiden’s Blush, Jack Train: Can you eat it? I don’t mind if I do. After tasting. Rather an old maid!. Patricia Roc presents the Daily Mail Cup to winner’s manager. Tommy Handley and Jack Train behind counter, Handley introduces Train to waiter from MWB. Train I’d rather I didn’t if you don’t mind. Cut-ins at beginning of Train drinking water and pretending to pass out.
