Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: No Quarter in Sydney Prize Fight. DESCRIPTION: Tommy Burns of Australia defeats America’s O’Neill Bell to become World Welterweight Champion. SHOTLIST: KS Tommy Burns and O’Neill Bell enter ring. Various shots of Bell & Burns boxing, sparring etc. Bell closes Burns’ right eye. Burns takes terrific punishment in the stomach. In tenth round both men are tiring, Burns knocks Bell (coloured man) down in corner of ring, The bell saves him. Referee counts him. Coming out for eleventh round Burns goes all out for knock out after Bell has taken colossal punishment his seconds throw in the towel, Burns wins on technical knock out, Burns jumps for joy. CU Burns with his right eye closed. Cut-ins of crowds applauding, cheering etc.
