MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Flash Back - September 3rd 1939. DESCRIPTION: A look back six years to the day war began. SHOTLIST: KS Houses of Parliament. Pan of Houses of Parliament, including Big Ben etc. People hurrying along streets with gas-masks. Guns in park, also barrage balloon. Guards at Buckingham Palace change over from peacetime to wartime - wearing battle-dress instead of busbies, (shots of both). Evacuation of children - along streets - on stations - trains etc. King at No 10 Downing Street with Mr Chamberlain. Mr Chamberlain leaves No 10, in car. Various War posters. Territorials. New recruits marching away from camera. Troops march along road.
