Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: V1 Sites Captured. DESCRIPTION: The Allies lightning advance in France had, by the beginning of August, over-run a very big number of flying-bomb sites. SHOTLIST: Various scenes of V1 sites taken from all angles. Map of British Isles, excluding Ireland. Various shots of shooting ramps, small gauge tracks, also wide gauge tracks, on which flying bombs were conveyed. All the above is in wooded country. Pan round site shows various component parts which go to make up a ‘flying bomb’. Various shots in England of remains of flying bombs, being inspected. (Have reason to believe this is all in France & not England).
