MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Papuans on the Warpath. DESCRIPTION: Natives of Papua, New Guinea have joined up with the Australian forces to drive out the Japanese. SHOTLIST: Cut story - GS in jungle clearance of Papuans paraded, being inspected by British Officers. Their arms also being inspected. GS of Papuans training with Bren guns etc., not firing. Various shots of Papuan doing native dances. Various shots of Papuans firing heavy artillery, across valley hits registering LS. CU loading breech. Various shots of fire across the wooded valleys. This is on island of New Guinea.
