MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: American "VC" for Ploesti Raider. DESCRIPTION: Colonel Johnson received the Congressional Medal of Honour from Colonel Devers at an East Anglian airfield. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Elevated shot of parade, with Liberator amongst them. GS of Colonel Johnson saluting, General Devers placing Congressional Medal round Johnson’s neck. CU Johnson & CU Medal. Colonel Johnson escorts Devers & Eaker, in an inspection of air crews who took part in the Ploesti raid. Johnson shows them his record of raids, painted on side of the fuselage.
