MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Back to Winter Sports. DESCRIPTION: The British Army undertakes training in skiing in the mountains of Syria. In America sailors are undergoing the same training in Idaho. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Various shots of skiing in Syria, skiing into camera alternatively turning sharp right & left just before reaching camera. CU past camera shots skiers. Elevated shot of parade of soldiers in skiing outfit paraded in valley. The above is at a Military Training School. GS of parade & learning to turn on skis, one falls over, also few tumbles & climbing descent. Skiing down passing trees covered in snow (picturesque). Skiers jumping over thick snow. In Farragut, USA, sailors, elevated shot of sailors descending & climbing slope.
