MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Anglo-USA-French Review. DESCRIPTION: Anglo-American forces arrive in Algiers and together with French forces honour the fallen. SHOTLIST: GS of two French submarines in Algiers Harbour, background city of Algiers, naval sentry can be seen on duty, marching up & down the deck of one. Names of the submarines are: Casabianca & Marsouin. Pan shot of group left to right: Admiral Cunningham; Lt Clark; Admiral Darlan (in mufti); General Eisenhower. Mr Robert Murphy (US State Dept.) & Captain Wright, the last two were in the group shot, but not the pan. Group shot of Clark, Darlan & Eisenhower. Darlan placing wreath on war memorial, pan up to top of memorial. CU Eisenhower saluting. MS Giraud & Nogues. Giraud saluting MS. Darlan & Eisenhower talking (silent).
