Summary
Pathe synopsis: At Slimbridge, Gloucestershire, there are birds by the thousand, and they fly in of their own free will. Here are the headquarters of naturalist Peter Scott’s Wildfowl Trust, a centre for ornithological research. Carefully camouflaged "hides" enable the researchers to study wild geese as they swoop on their traditional wintering haunt, and swan beak markings are drawn, named and tabulated. For no two swans ever have the same bill pattern.
