- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: In these days of pre-fabrication and pre-stressed concrete the art of the bricklayer is being lost so if you see someone slapping cement about George Dereford of Marlow, Bucks, you can bet he’s not building walls, Mr. Dereford is something of an Aztec. He’s revived the ancient Mexican art of making mosaic sculptures. His brilliantly coloured statues and tableaux are much in demand and the intricate process really does start with a trowel full of cement. It ends with a newly commissioned mosaic Royal Coat of Arms for the British Embassy in Tel Aviv.
