- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: One of the old cries of London, "Who’ll buy my sweet lavender?" may be heard less and less, but the lavender crop is still a lucrative, as well as fragrant, annual event. In Norfolk the crop, ranging in colour from light blue to purple, is harvested and put into giant stills. Here the pure lavender oil is extracted, for use in perfume and toilet requisites.
