Summary
Pathe synopsis: Three million silkworms with meal times every four hours require a great deal of feeding, and this is only one aspect of life at Britain’s only full-scale silk farm, at Ayot St Lawrence in Hertfordshire. Here we see the various stages in the production of natural silk, for which there is still a great demand. [Location is the Lullingstone Silk Farm in Ayot St Lawrence.]
