Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Menzies in Coventry. DESCRIPTION: The Australian Premier too has been visited Plymouth, in fact he was there during the Blitz. SHOTLIST: Mr Menzies is met on the boundary by the Mayor, Alderman JA Mosely. They tour the city and the cathedral. Here, Rev. HT Howard shows the minister a photograph of what the building looks like before the Blitz. Later, Mr Menzies visited a large factory, where he inspected the Home Guard. Menzies Visits Plymouth - CARD 40550 Mr Menzies tours the wrecked city and pays a visit to No 10 squadron, RAAF where he talks to the men. He takes his own photographs as he goes. Speech.
