Summary

But there was another side to the snow scene - it also made the countryside look beautiful. Here was nature’s version of show business - a show that had its first night long ago, long ago and has been running ever since, rivalled only by the efforts of man. In London there was one to the man-made first nights. Ginger Rogers opened in "Mame", a sparkling hit musical. This was a night of glamour and excitement when the stars went to watch one of the Hollywood greats score another success for herself and the show.
