Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cossack and Repulse in Port Again. DESCRIPTION: HMS Repulse being in port at the same time as units of the French fleet, Captain Spooner visits the ‘Montcalm’. Returning to port after duties in the seas off Norway is HMS Cossack. SHOTLIST: Shots of the battle cruiser HMS "Repulse" including a very good silhouette. Captain Spooner leaves her and goes by motor-launch to the French cruiser "Montcalm". He goes aboard and is greeted by Admiral Derrien the senior French naval officer. They walk together. Other officers arrive and fraternise while a cameraman takes their pictures. Also in port is the destroyer "Cossack". She steam in (excellent shot of her from sea level).
