Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: HM the King in France (Third Story). DESCRIPTION: His Majesty continues his tour of inspection of the BEF. He also visits the RAF and meets with President Lebrun and Prime Minister Daladier. SHOTLIST: Various shots of the King’s car with ensign flying at the front. Soldiers line the route and direct the traffic. He inspects one unit in a ploughed field. Lieutenant General Brooke is present and HM reviews a march past of a Guards Battalion and visits the RAF where he sees a Dachshund which is kept as a pet. The King decorates F/O Gravely & Sergeant Gardinger. Finally, with Lord Gort & the President he is seen.
